South Bend, Washington – The National Weather Service in Portland Oregon has issued a flood warning for the Naselle River effective from now until this afternoon or until the warning is cancelled. At 3:00 a.m. the river level was at 15.1 feet. Flood stage for the Naselle is 15.5 feet. The river is expected to crest around 9:00 a.m. on Monday at 16.2 feet. Minor flooding is forecast.
The river is expected to rise above flood stage around 5:00 a.m. At 16 feet flooding of several homes and roads along and near the Naselle River can be expected. Portions of State Route 4 will also likely be flooded.
