Precautionary/Preparedness
Actions:
A high wind warning means a hazardous high wind event is
expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58
mph or more can lead to property damage.
A flood watch means there is a potential for flooding based
on the current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for
possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
