Today, afternoon temperatures over the inland areas are expected to approach 90 degrees. The hot spell will continue Tuesday with afternoon highs over the interior approaching 95 with coastal temperatures close to 80. Wednesday currently looks to be the hottest day of this stretch with interior areas possibly flirting with 100 degrees.
